Hello list. I am trying to find where my husband's Great-great-great-grandfather, Nathan Pennybacker, is buried. He lived in Meredosia, Illinois from abt. 1844 to 1870. We found him on the 1870 Mortality Schedule of Morgan County under the spelling of 'Pinnebacker'. He was listed as living in the Meredosia Precinct. We have also found him on several Morgan County census records (under the wrong surname spelling) but have not been able to find him in any of the cemeteries in the area. Currently he is not on any cemetery index. Nathan's wife, Mary, should be also buried in the area. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated!
