I've brought this up before, but there is now a second site that you should investigate very carefully before purchasing. The previous one I mentioned: http://www.familydiscovery.com and now: http://www.genealogy-express.com Both of these sites charge either a one time charge for unlimited access or a monthly fee. What they provide is a batch of links to pages that are already free. For example, they link to the Illinois Civil War site and many other pages put up by county, state and private genealogy sites. Both originate outf of Cedar Rapids, IA, and they claim NOT to be related. However, both of them have used the same address at one time or another. If you are thinking about subscribing to these - or any other pay genealogy site - it might pay you to check with the list before doing so. Jack Cox
