Somebody in the recent past was inquiring about Jesse T. Newman. He was my gg-uncle and I do have some information about him. He bought land just NE of Jacksonville. I am still looking for an information about my ggg-grandfather George S. Newman who moved here from Ross County, Ohio, abt. 1823. His son, Benjamin married Carolyn Cartwright. Harry Newman Harry G.
