I've put up the "Ledger of Samuel F. Campbell" which was originally copied by Mrs. H. W. (Sara John) English from the original handwritten book in 1927. Florence published these extracts in 1997 in her Star Geneal Journal because they include the names of a number of people who weren't related to Samuel Campbell, but rather were probably neighbors and acquaintances of Mr. Campbell. The items may be of interest to others since they contain death dates which occurred prior to the use of death certificates. You can find this "Ledger" in the section/link called "Newspaper Articles of Genealogical Interest" near the top of the Morgan County Index page.
HI Shirley, When you send us all an update of the page could you please include the Index Page URL? When an email comes in, it is so much easier if we can just click and go right to the page. I, for one, have so many bookmarks I have to sort through them to get to the page. THANK YOU!
