Hi List, I strongly believe there is a family connection to this GOLLIER family and my GOLLIHER/GALLAHER lineage. According to Henry GOLLIER's obit in Pike Co. IL newspaper he died June 5, 1935 at his farm home southwest of Pearl, IL. Henry GOLLIER was born Sept 20, 1849 in Germany and was the 3rd son of John & Catherine GOLLIER. He came to America at age 2. He married Mrs. Evelyln CARTER BAIN on Aug 26, 1874. She was the daughter of David and Sarah SILKWOOD CARTER and born May 26 1847 and died May 29, 1922. They had 7 seven children: George, Sadie, Lee (lived in Midvale, Idaho), Addie LAUX and Will (of Pearl, IL), Eva SMITH and Inez McCANN (of Jacksonville, IL). Evelyn had tow son from previous marriage: Gus BAIN and Lorenzo Edward BAIN of Carrollton, IL. Henry GOLLIER had one known sister, Eva of White Hall, IL.
