I have a copy of a newspaper clipping from Nov 18,1992 which spoke of the devastating storm of 1911. On the 11th day of the 11th month year 1911. Remains a vivid memory for Virginia and the surrounding area. This came from the Virginia Enquirer. I can trnscribe it,but I believe I would need permission from the paper? The reason we have this particular edition was because Lula McLain-Stinson was born in the Virginia area and on top of the article is noted that she was born on this day. But contrary to other records we have her being born Nov 12,1911. So possibly her mother was in labor during the storm. Article mentions a boy named Otto Kruse,89 of Beardstown was 8 years old at the time of the storm. His father was Charles A. Kruse. Ginger Weston
