In an obituary of Corridon Cox, it states the following... "Immediately after their marriage they settled upon section 4, township 14, range 9, where they lived until May 9th, 1880, when their home with all its surroundings was swept away by a cyclone, which will long be remembered by the residents of that neighborhood." Does anyone have any newpaper accounts of the destruction or people killed or injured during this cyclone? If not, would it be possible for someone to check the May 1880 Jacksonville newspaper to see what was written? Thanks for any help! Jerry
