I am looking for my husband's 3rd Great-grandfather's (Nathan Pennybacker) final resting place. We know he lived in Meredosia, Morgan County, IL from abt. 1844 to 1860's. He was listed in the 1850 and 1860 IL US Census (and not the 1870 Census). Also, we found Nathan in the 1870 US Census Mortality schedule (listed as 'Pinnebacker, Nathan; 78 Male, married, born Virginia, farmer, died December, old age). His wife, Mary, is probably buried next to him. We have not had any luck finding Nathan or any record of him in the cemeteries that are currently online.
