I am currently researching marriage of David Guynn to Mary Ann Weaver on Aug 4, 1878 in Greene County, Illinois. There is a 1880 census record for David Gwin who I believe is the same David. Recently learned David spent some time in Texas also and am wondering if possibly the Gwins of Illinois went to Texas after the epidemic where a large number of families migrated to Texas. I have tied this David to a family of Guynns in Henry County, Missouri but do not know relationship to the Gwins in Illinois. I believe there is a connection between these Illinois Gwins and Missouri Guynns. June Stewart JuneStew1@aol.com
