I'm looking for information on the CRISWELL family. I have been searching the land records for Lauderdale Co. AL and found Patience CRISWELL living next door to Joseph FANNING. I believe that this Patience is the Patience married to Samuel and am wondering if he was deceased by 1818. The land record only lists Patience and not Samuel. I have some information on the Criswell family but would like to compare information. The children that I show are Jane Criswell married Ezekiel McCurley, Patience married George Nichols, George B. married Jane Meradeth (sp?) Celia married Washington Fanning, Althea married Sampson Fanning and Robert married Anna Fanning. Thank you. Cathy Fanning Stoppel

Dear Kathy, I am a descendant of Jane Criswell and Ezekial McCurley through their dau. Susan. I have a little bit on the Criswell's, and would like to know more.
