What timeframe are you looking for? Were they a German Family or Irish Family? I have German First Evangelical Lutheran Book if they were German. My husbands family were realted to the German Thompson/Tomson family that came up from PA Harrisburg to East St Louis and Richard Thompson married Josephine Nolden in Cass County. Richard died 1887,son Clifford Frederick Thompson born to the posthumous Richard Thompson and Josephine Nolden.1887. Richard noted on his marriage certificate that he was of German decent and that his fathers name was John and that his mothers name was Anna Garris. I found a Adelhaide Thompson in the First Evangelical Lutheran Records, but we don't know who she was? Please advise me if you are looking for a german Family or Irish Family, both were living in the area in the 1800s. I can forward you to the Irish Thompsons.
