    3. My uncle's (actually, he's my dad's stepbrother) birth certificate says he was born in Poplar City, IL. According to a web site, it is in Mason Co., southeast of Havana. Does it still exist since I don't find it in my atlas? Because he's not blood related, I've never researched that part of the family but my uncle is hoping I'll do some research for him. Is there anyone else researching the names HAMPTON, STUART, or CADWALLADER (sp ?) from the Mason County area???? Thanks for any help. Linda
