Hi Marty & Sue: Thanks for the article. This goes hand in hand. I just picked up a FREE magazine at the Health Food Store entitled, Alternative Medicine, published in Escondido, CA. March 1999 issue and there is an article in there, page 83, that states 33% of Doctors Now Prescribe Herbs. "One out of Three U.S. primary care physicians now prescribe herbs to their patients, according to a telephone survey of 153 doctors in August 1998, sponsored by Pharmaton Natural Health Products, based in Ridgefield, Connecticut. " The article goes on to say that 67% of patients ask their physicians at least once a week for Information about supplements. There's lots more to the article. By the way, my cancer lady, Mary, just had new bone scans and new cancer cell count tests. It's GONE! Cancer, that is. She's really happy.
