I found an obit for my ggrandmother, Sarah R. (Kerr) Caulk b 1859, which states that she was "baptized in Silver Creek near Silver Creek Christian Church in 1882" I have been searching forever (seems like) for info on this grandmother. Her parents were Andrew and Amanda (Gillard) Kerr, who must have been in the Silver Creek area and then moved to New Douglas. I know New Douglas is in Madison County, is Silver Creek also in Madison County? Is it a town or a creek? Or both? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Linda Peters
