Denise, Use GNIS for locating villages, cemeteries, hills, etc. <http://mapping.usgs.gov//www/gnis/gnisform.html> Fill in the form using "populated place" for the type of feature and fill in county and state. You will go directly to a map and "zoom in" a few times. I frequently use GNIS to locate cemeteries, small villages, "....corners", etc. You can also print these maps for your notebook.
