Scott I have the book Illinois Place names put out by the Illinois state historical society and below is what it says about your PLEASANT RIDGE. PLEASANT RIDGE (Madison C0) see 1882 history 456;state atlas, 1876 this is all it says there are several more with that name in different counties but only this one in madison county. pattie cooper "G.
