Looking for any information on my grandmother, Nellie Jane Tinnin. She lived in Alton, Illinois with her husband, Charles W. Rettig, in 1914 where my father, Clifford Clinton Rettig, was born. She was born in Madison Co., MO abt 1890; married in Bollinger Co., MO on September 7th, 1913 and died in Elm Creek, NE of influenza on March 08, 1920. Madison County does not have her birth certificate and thus I cannot find her parents' names. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Their address at the time of my father's birth was: 1222 Union St., Alton, IL. If the original house still exists and someone would be willing to take a picture and send it to me, I would be very, very appreciative. I will be happy to reimburse you for your time and expense.
