Melissa, That is a help.I never heard of IRAD. Does anyone have any suggestions about this? My GGG Grandparents died in Alton and are in the city cem. with only death yrs. 1872 and 73.Many of their 7 children were young, under 10. I know the last one born in 71 went to an uncle in davenport.Only one uncle was in Alton and None of them are on a census with him.Where would the children be , if they all say that they grew up in Alton on Obits?And how could I find them? I need to see if a will exists for the parents in 1872 or 3.Hopefully the single dad thought of it in case he died.
