Hello, I am new to your list and have just learned that my great-grandfather died on June 5, 1931 in Granite City, Illinois. The "story" is that he was hit by a car when he was drunk, but I don't know if that is true. He was buried at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Edwardsville, Illinois after a funeral at Sacred Heart Church (not sure where the church was located). Would anyone be willing to locate his obituary notice and send me a copy. I would be happy to pay for copying and postage costs. It would be greatly appreciated. Or could someone tell me the names and addresses of the newspapers that his obit might have been printed in so that I could write to them to request it. If anyone has any other suggestions for how to find out what the circumstances were for his death, I would love to hear from them. Thank you for your time in advance Patty in Colorado
