My husband had his picture taken with Robert Wadlow in 1938 or 1937 in Carmi Illinois...The photographer worked for the town newspaper and my husband thinks he recall seeing the picture in the paper... My husband is about 5' 8" and Mr Wadlow was about 8ft Tall and they wanted someone who was much shorter to pose with him...my husband thinks Mr Wadlow was about 25 or 26 years old then...Pat Voyles
