Hello all - I'm looking for someone to help me with some info on my ancestor Jacob ANDRES. He was born in Switzerland in abt 1839. I am told there is a Jacob Andres listed in the 'Naturalization & Intentions, Madison Co., IL, 1816-1900' publication. I'm told the source code for this is 8368, & source page# is 3. There should be two listinmgs for Jacob Andres, one for the year 1860 & one for the year 1892. Jacob Andres married a girl from IL, her name was 'Eliza'. Their 1st child, Perry Washington Andres, was born Dec 1864, supposedly in Madison Co., IL. Could someone also look at the 'Madison Co., IL Birth Record Index, 1850-1879' for me, please? I believe the Madison Co. Genealogical Society has these publications. If someone could find 'my' Jacob Andres on these publications, I want to purchase them from the society.
