Dear "List" ....... I am new to the Madison County list, and hope somebody will know something about a piece of land near Edwardsville. I am looking for anyone with knowledge of the property that had been "patented" to ZENAS WEBSTER in 1820. I would especially like to know the name of the current land owner of that property.....the east half of the south east quarter of section 34 in township 22 of range 13. Apparently this 80 acres and another adjoining 40 acres he owned must have been fairly close to Edwardsville. G/G/G/Grandfather Webster died there in 1844, and must be buried on that property or nearby. Does anybody know anything about that piece of land today?
