The show will be held at the First United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Church St., on Sunday, March 14th, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and will be available through the Downtown Collinsville office, Collinsville Chamber of Commerce, Stitch N' Thyme, The Flower Basket, and Johnathan's Photo 55. This trip back in time will present a chronology of Collinsville clothing dating from pre-1900 to the present, highlighting fashions from each decade. "This is a great event for mothers, grandmothers, and daughters to attend together," says Norma Sams of the fundraising committee. "While different generations had different styles of clothing, they all like to follow the fashion trends of the times. We are planning it to appeal to all ages." Unique gourmet desserts will be served during this extravaganza. All who attend have a chance to win one of several door prizes provided by Downtown Collinsville merchants. Everyone is encouraged to wear an outfit from his or her favorite decade.
