On my husband's side I am researching the following surnames, which are primarily in Madison County, IL. BRENNER, Martin (born about 1821) was married to Catharina BISCHAN(?) and lived in Madison County, IL. LOHR/LOEHR, Joseph (born about 1825) came to US and first lived briefly in Philadelphia County, PA and then to Madison County, IL by 1858 and was married to Mary RENLEY or KINLEY (born January 1836). NICHOLS, Mary Jane (from Missouri) first married a DOYLE and had a son possibly named Joe. The husband DOYLE died while Joe was a child. MILLER, Samuel M. (from West Virginia) married the above Mary Jane NICHOLS-DOYLE in 1881 in Des Moines, IA. They had a son in 1882 named William Aaron MILLER. A daughter named Mary. More children? It is believed the family moved to Madison County, IL while William was a child. Unknown GARDNER married the above daughter Mary MILLER and lived in St. Louis, possibly Webster Groves.
