My ggggrandfather Gerhard Behrends Neemann arrived in Madison Co. in the 1860's from Ostfriesland. In 1869 he married Anna Gerdes Ennen(also from Ostfriesland) in Alton. They had at least for kids (Gerhard, Anna, John and Hermann) in IL before moving to Nebraska around 1880. Most of Gerhard's family went straight to NE but a few relatives at least stopped in IL before moving on. I'm looking for any Neemanns that might have stayed behind. Also any Ennens in the area. When Anna arrived in IL she was in her mid twenties and unmarried. She likely wasn't travelling alone, but I haven't found any other relatives of hers in the US. I'm also looked for other related families that at least passed through Madison Co.: Guthals, Eisenhauer, and Rademacher. Thanks Steve
