Hello Everyone,I am trying to find where my Hoehn family is buried and what church they used when they arrived in Alton from Germany in 1846.I know they attended a Lutheran Church in Germany and that there was a Lutheran church in Alton at the time,but the church changed denominations before 1900 when my Charles Hoehn died.I checked vital records and not much exists for my early Hoehns.I have sketchy bible dates and places.Everything said they should be in Alton.Aside from a few newspaper anouncements and one existing 1858 Alton city directory at the Alton Library,I havent found them on a census or in a cem.record. Im looking for George Henry Hoehn died 1851 in Alton wife Elizabeth Dora,And son Charles supposedly died in 1900 and wife Margaret.Any suggestions?
