Looking for any additional information on the Harvey Summers family of Upper Alton, 1850, also looking for additional information on the William Green family of Madison county some sons were Alexander, Lewis, and Elijah. His wife's name was Mary Trammell. We are searching for a burial place for William and his wife. We have received many replies that they are buried in a particular cemetary but the William Green and Mary Green that we have received are not the same. William Green's father was Benjamin Franklin Green who came to MO in the early 1800's. They are of Cherokee Descent. We also believe that the Trammel line had Cherokee as well as we have found one of our anscestors who had claimed full-blood in a Cherokee application.
