Sharon, I am searching for any surname of SELPH. I know my grandmother, Lourina Anna SELPH was born in 1849 in Dover, TN. She married my grandfather, Franklin A. DUNBAR in 1874 in Alton, IL. She died in Kirkwood, MO in 1900 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery beside my grandfather. I have been working on finding Lourina's parents. On her death certificate, there are not parents listed. I think her brother might have been Robert SELPH because I was told a Bertha SELPH Higgs was my dad's cousin. She died in Collinsville around 1960's. I know there was a Ben Selph that died Feb 1967 and am interested on any newspaper article that would have information on his father. Thanks for any information you can find.
