It's called Haynor Public Library and has several locations, (Youth) 401 State Street, Alton IL 62002 (618) 462--0651, (Adult) 326 Belle Street, Alton (618) 462-0651 and a (Branch) at 201 Alton Square, Alton (618) 463-1276. I'm not sure where the records would be located, the original building is the one on State Street, but it appears from the phone book that it is now only for youth. I'd try the Belle Street building.
