Is there still an active railroad running North and south from E. St. Louis thru Marine, Alhambra,. Mt. Olive? Until 1917, there was a flag station called Binney north of Alhambra,on my ancestral Binneys' farm. It was pretty close to the Madison/Macoupin line and not too far west of the Montg. line. There was a C.C.C. and St. L. running sw-nw thru there. I see these on old RR map.
