Some time ago in this forum, a book, "Moores of Madison County," by Earl Moore was mentioned. I do not live in the area but will be visiting the area later this month. Is there a central library or genealogical research site that has this volume? If so, where is it and how would I get there from Granite City where I will be staying? Secondly, an event, the massacre of Wood River in 1814 has been mentioned also. I am interested in finding the location of that event and taking a photo of the plaque in Madison Co.
