Howdy Folks: My Stobbs family records show my gggrandfather John Stobbs living in Alton circa 1850 - 1860. I have just found that two other Stobbs' William and Thomas were living in Highland, IL in 1860. I do have a William and a Thomas Stobbs in my tree, they were the eldest sons of John Stobbs. However, my records show they never came to the US. If someone has access to the 1860 census I ask to please check and find their ages and birth places of their parents. Any help is gratefully appreciated and in return I will do lookups on the new LDS CD's. I have both the Vitals Record Index for the British Isles and the Vital Records for North America.
