Millie, I have a Henry Cook and a son John Cook but my John was John C. Cook. They were in Greene, and Madison Co. and even earlier in St. Claire County, Henry was in Kaskaskia before that. They were there early 1800's and left for Texas about 1845-48. They with a Peters Colony group into N. Texas. This probably is not the ones you want so there must have been two John Cooks. Barb
