    3. My GG-grandfather death certificate list his "Place of Death" as 3304 Fernwood Ave, Wood River, IL. As a kid this house was still in the family. Across the street from the old Milton school. In what I always refered to as Upper Alton. I checked there is NO Fernwood Ave in Wood River, IL Was this area once considerd Wood River? Why would they list it as Wood River? In my FTM file, if I list the palce of Death as alton ,shold I put a note in saying the Death Cert states Wood River but it should have been Alton? Thanks Kent

    3. Kent, I believe at one time that area was in Wood River Township. When I get down to the museum, I will see if I can clear that up.
