    3. Lorraine, My husband put this letter in my mail box months ago and I promptly forgot about it. Thank you for taking on this newsletter. My grandfather, his brothers, and his father settled in the Edwardsville/Granite City area in the late 1880's. They originated in Bohemia, now Czechoslovakia. I can find little or no information on him other than that published in a newspaper that was reporting attendance in school and school functions. There should be a birth of another son after his mother and another brother arrived. They later moved to St. Louis, MO. The name I am searching for is Zdvoracek.
