Hello, all! Also, do you have any information in addition to what is listed above? I have found the widowed Louisa Bauer in the 1910 through 1930 US Census. Also, any information about Frederick and Josephine MEISSNER (parents of Charles MEISSNER), would be appreciated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance. Best regards, Greg Price (in cold, chilly Vermont)
My g-g-grandfather Jacob Mueller's second wife was Barbara Bauer, John Bauer's sister. George Bauer, John's son, was my g-grandfather Johann Georg Holl's God son. John Bauer operated a furniture and mortuary business in Alton. His son George took over the furniture business, and another son took over the mortuary. I have some letters written to my g-grandparents from both George and his sister Othillie (Tillie), neither of whom married. I might have some other information about this family, but I don't have it at hand at the moment. If you are interested, I will get out the file and let you know what I have. Dora, I do have it. In fact, I've been able to find the census image for the family for every census from 1860 through 1930. The St Louis Meissners you found are the same family and I do have that image. I appreciate your offer. I am very interested in the death report you have. Please send it. Thanks in advance.
