(if that is not a copyright problem). My gr-gr-gr-grandfather Thomas Barnett was the original owner of the NE1/4 of NW1/4 of Sec 5, ca 1817. I think U.S. Highway 55 (formerly Route 66) goes through the property now. He also had property adjacent to the north in Twp.5N. Curious to know if the area is still farmed, part of Edwardsville, or other use.
