Marie, Have you gotten on the Illinois Archives site? I will send you the address if you need it. But if you just put Illinois Archives death or whatever, the site comes up. Barbara Heflin is a genius at finding things, and if she can't help you she will guide you in the right direction. She is such a nice, pleasant person. You will like her. Only cemetery book of which I am aware is the New Douglas and it is currently being revised. Dewey
Dewey, my name is Susan Metzger and I have been reading the information on the cemetery look up. I saw that you mentioned a cemetery book about New Douglas. My gggrandfather, his son, and their families are buried in Corrington Cemetery which is outside of New Douglas. He was the first to be buried there. Do you have any information regarding that cemetery? The rest of the family is buried in what we call the "New Douglas" Cemetery....this may not be correct, but it is where the Knowlson's and Bartels are all buried right outside of town. Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated.
