Hi Pat :o) I did not know if this would be of any relevance to you or not, but I thought I would throw it out there. I have a GG-GrandUncle, named Daniel LYNCH. His first wife was Mary STAHL. She was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (nee BOUCHER) STAHL. In the 1880 Madison County, Illinois census, there is a listing for the STAHL household, showing Samuel and Elizabeth with their 2 sons, Daniel (born about 1843)and Samuel (born about 1860), their Grandson, Herbert STAHL (born about 1873). Mary (nee STAHL) Lynch, died in 1878, and 2 of her 3 children, Samuel and Dora Lynch are also living with the STAHL's at this time.
