Thank you!!!!! Gloria!!!!! for this wonderful website!!!!! I immediately tried it out and found the link to the WWI records and found my husband's maternal grandfather on it - Clarence R. Higgins!!!! Now I have his exact date of birth, when he was inducted, etc. I have a picture of him with the men of his Co L, 54th Infantry (same as the WWI record!) - he did serve in France 1918 to 1919 as was mentioned on the record.
