At first I thought it would not be worth transcribing these records because in many cases the lists consist of nothing more than a last name under a header of "Boys" or "Girls." However, some years contain a goldmine of information. They contain the person's birth date, father's name, place of birth and in a few, also the place of Baptism. There are lots of Illinois births, some other states as well as Germany locations. Plus a few other countries too. As always, keep in mind how difficult these microfilmed records are to read.
