Searching for descendants of ggranfather, Jacob Smith, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, moved to Alton, Illinois approx. 1885. He had 5 boys with his first wife, Edward, Lou, Hiram, Royal, William, and four children with with wife #2 - Stella Miller, George Smith, Irene Tinsley, Elie Smith, all from Alton area.
