Good Day, I have in my possession, a program from a Centennial Celebration for Campbell Chapel AME Church (1844-1944) dtd Aug 21-27, 1944. (Alton, IL) It is in mint condition and has a lot of photos, church history, etc. I don't know if this church is still in existence or not, but two generations of my family were active members there. I would like to donate this program, as it has a lot of good information. Can someone point me in the right direction of contacting someone in reference to this? Thank you for your time. LeRoyce E. I say give it to the Madison County Genealogical Society which houses its library collection at the Edwardsville City Public Library. The book would be available to all who are researching their family lines and since Edwardsville is the county seat they are within a couple of blocks from the court house when at the library.
