Forgot to add the following concerning the cemetery of the original Catholic Church located on the Prairietown Road. It's my understanding that the remains or possibly shovels of dirt were interred at St. Mary's Cemetery in rural Bunker Hill. The cemetery is located 2-3 miles east of IL 159 just inside the Macoupin/Madison county line. Moulton Road is on the west side of IL 195 but the road has a different name on the east side and I don't recall the name. The cemetery is associated with St. Mary's Catholic Church in that it's a final resting place for members of the parish, but it has it's own association officers which keep the records.
