Seeking info on John POWERS, farmer in Godfrey, Madison Co. Born Ireland, Roman Catholic. Age 59 on the 1880 census so poss birth: c. 1821. Wife in 1880: Catherine, age 45. Still alive in 1897 when his bother, Walter, died. I hope this guy survived to be on the 1900 census [haven't had a chance to check] Anyone researching the POWERS family? Jane Lahey
