My surname in this area is HUSSEY. An obituary (Houston, TX, May, 1944) for my husband's ggreat aunt, Mary Ann HUSSEY Ferguson, states she was 84 when she died (making her birth yr. 1860 or so, depending on month of birth). The obit. states she was born in Edwardsville, IL. Parents names are Mary Ann Keenan Hussey and Michael Hussey. Ironically, I can find no other "link" to the IL area for this family. Mary Ann & Michael were married in NO, LA in 1847 and Mary Ann Hussey Ferguson's obit states they came to Houston "during the "Civil War." I cannot locate them on a census, even with soundex. If anyone can help out with a "link" for this family to this area, I would really appreciate it. Sheryl McNally
