    3. I'm having similar problems! My grandfgather was married to a woman before he married my grandmother. They were divorced in 1937.... I can not even find him in the 1930 census.... I've looked in surround counties including St. Louis. What a pain! I have found his father, William Yakstis but the son, William (Bill) Yakstis has yet to be found.. nor his wife; Ruth Voss. He's from Madison County but moved to St. Clair County after he met my grandmother.... I even checked there! Ugh... How frustrating!
