I was asked to give a consensus of the responses I recieved regarding the Germans to America on CD Rom that I requested info on. I posted the question to 3 different Lists, 2 in Illinois & 1 in Iowa, & recieved about two dozen responses, none totally negative, generally people found them worthwhile, however they are not 100% complete, not every passenger is listed. To me it seemed that most people were basically happy with them, but didn't always find who they were looking for. I was also given a link to a site that will do FREE LOOKUPS from these CD's & some different CD's also.
