I am researching the Luly/Luley/Lulie/Luli name world wide and wonder if anyone has information about those from this family in Illinois? I believe there is one or possibly two buildings in Alton with 'Luly' in the brickwork; does anyone know where the buildings are and anything of their history. Also would like details of Lulys and variants in the 1880 Census. I am based in the UK and so would be really grateful for assistance from those in the US. Best wishes, Mary James

Mary, There was a Luly Drug Co. in 1912 at Second and Market Streets in Alton. This from an ad in the book "Alton Illinois Illustrated 1912".
