Cathi There is a birth announcement section but it didn't come into existence until sometime in the 1900's. Some of the births were just mentioned in passing in the neighborhood news columns, such as "The John Doe family had a new addition arrive last Thursday." or "Mrs. John Doe had a baby boy on Thursday." You won't find anything back in the 1840's as for deaths or births or weddings or engagements. Debbi Geer __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
